Success at IAAPA Orlando Convention - Innovative Rental Portable Safe
This past week we took SAFEGO, our patented outdoor personal safe, to exhibit at the IAAPA Orlando Convention. Even though we were expecting positive feedback from the attendees at this trade show, we left the Orange County Convention Center extremely appreciative of all the enthusiasm about our product.
IAAPA, which stands for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, is easily the largest international trade association for amusement facilities worldwide. We consider ourselves a useful supplier in this industry because SAFEGO functions just like an amusement park locker, but with the rental grade portability that theme parks and water parks have been searching for. Attendees that showed a strong interest in our product were from all over the world; examples such as Long Beach California, Holden Beach North Carolina, Myrtle Beach, South Padre Island, São Paolo Brazil, Acapulco and Cancun Mexico, local Daytona Beach, and many more.

These high quality features make for the perfect chair safe or pool chair safe. SAFEGO eliminates several amusement park issues, especially the one where visitors forget their rental combination code. Amusement park management can simply grant their customers one of two keys that come with each SAFEGO, or perhaps still utilize the customizable 3-digit combo method.
Water Parks and Theme Parks worldwide should strongly consider offering SAFEGO as portable lockbox rentals for their visitors. It’s an opportunity to increase total revenue, increase those impulse sales, and most importantly, decrease the amount of theft.
Setting aside our company success at IAAPA, we have to add in that this was one of the most entertaining trade shows we have ever attended or exhibited. Exhibitors consisted of industry manufacturers and suppliers, so that basically means this:
- Video and arcade games
- Mini roller coaster rides
- 3-D innovation
- Crazy foods, ice cream, popcorn
- Loud noises and excited children
- New ideas and details for the future of the theme park industry
Adding all of that together, and not to mention the fantastic air-conditioning in that convention center, it is safe to say that SAFEGO will be back for IAAPA 2016.
